In 2008, Gary Thomas established glt & associates, a consulting and training boutique that focuses on business-related procedures and techniques geared toward improving productivity, stimulating sales and providing marketing insight.
Gary develops strategies for his clients that allow them to be more effective and efficient, leveraging both talent and strategy in order to improve client retention and generate better visibility. After serving in the U.S. Army as a Portuguese linguist, Gary joined the Westinghouse Lamp Division and held field sales and management positions in Washington DC, Chicago, LA, Detroit and at Division Headquarters. Following the acquisition of the Westinghouse Lamp Division by Philips Lighting, he continued with the new company in various executive marketing and strategic planning management positions.
Gary joined Hubbell Wiring Device Division in 1985 as Vice President of Marketing & Sales. He held several key marketing and sales positions and retired as Vice President, Corporate Accounts, representing many of Hubbell, Inc. industry leading divisions. As the corporation’s principal executive contact for several of Hubbell’s most prestigious accounts, Gary was actively involved in all aspects sales, marketing, strategic negotiations and planning, as well as, ongoing client relationship building.
